Great Bardfield footbridge progress update

Unfortunately, due to a slight delay to the delivery of materials and unforeseen complications on site with removing the existing posts there has been a delay to the programme. We now anticipate works will be completed by the end of Thursday 14 April 2022.

We have amended the traffic management in place to help manage pedestrians to cross the road bridge during working hours. Temporary pedestrian traffic lights will be in place instead of stop / go boards. The temporary lights will only be used when required to manage pedestrians crossing the bridge. 

We would like to apologise for the delay and thank local residents for their patience and co-operation.
