Seasonal decorations, banners and hanging baskets on light columns

Individuals, groups and business can apply to hang seasonal decorations; banners or hanging baskets on or over the public highway, however each application has to meet strict health and safety regulations.

• For all applications, you will need to complete the application form for banners, baskets and seasonal decorations (1), which can be downloaded below
• If you are hanging banners or seasonal decorations from a lighting column you will need to complete the Banner and Seasonal Decorations Form (2) below
• If you are hanging baskets from a lighting column you will need to complete the additional Hanging Baskets Form (3) below
• To ensure you have completed all the relevant tasks, please download the Seasonal Decorations Check List (4) below.

Once you have completed all the paperwork you can send it by email to Asset.Management@essexhighways.org

Please note that your completed application and associated paperwork should be received at least 10 weeks before installation.
