Enforcement by camera starts at the bus gate in Pier Avenue, Clacton-on-Sea on Friday 8th November 2024, which follows a two week period of issuing warning notices.

The enforcement of the bus gate at Pier Avenue in Clacton was requested by Essex Police on safety grounds due to the number of vehicles contravening the current restriction and causing safety issues at the pedestrian crossing just after the bus gate.
