Sudbury Road – road reopening

Works to replace the retaining wall and widen the carriageway on Sudbury Road are nearing completion. We are aiming to reopen Sudbury Road by the end of Tuesday 4 May 2021 once carriageway resurfacing has been completed.

Temporary two-way traffic lights will be required on Sudbury Road while minor outstanding works are completed and the site is demobilised. In order to minimise disruption the temporary traffic lights will be in use on a part-time basis depending on the activities taking place on site. We anticipate traffic management will be removed by the end of Friday 14 May 2021.

We urge all drivers to take additional care in the area, observing signage and traffic management in place.
