Questions and answers

I started my role with ECC just a few days ago, so it is all very new at the moment. I previously worked as a Housing Assessment Officer at Braintree District Council.

I have always had a keen interest in sustainability and believe we should all take responsibility to work towards a greener society.

It’s quite early to say, but so far supporting others to effectively promote the aim and aspirations of ECC and how my role fits in with the wider organisation.

I am currently working towards further understanding the main principles and aspects of my new role. I have been reading up on current principles and researching into the world of sustainable travel, as well as shadowing meetings across the team.

Although we have all taken different routes through life, my friends have probably been my biggest influence – I am always inspired by how they have achieved and continue to work hard towards reaching their goals.

I’m a keen football fan and have been since I was very young. I support Tottenham Hotspurs and have played at a variety of different levels since I was five years old.

Literally any animal that can fly – especially seagulls!!

Gordon Ramsey – with the hopes he takes over the cooking!

The ability to teleport, I could go on holiday every weekend (and get a longer lay-in).

Pasta, pasta & pasta!! – Some may say that I am slightly obsessed.

My first job was working in a fish & chip shop when I was fourteen... It would take at least two hours to get the smell of oil off me.

I am excited to see where the next few weeks and months take me and looking forward to getting stuck into the job. I really like a fast-paced environment as I can’t sit still for too long, so one day I would like to move to London and enjoy that experience!
