Terminus Street, Harlow

The works

Arrangements have been made to resurface Terminus Street and Post Office Road, Harlow. Works are due to start on Tuesday 1 September 2020 and expected to take approximately four weeks to complete.

What is involved and how this may it affect you

Works will take place Monday to Sunday between the hours of 7pm to 5am. In order to support these works it will be necessary to close Terminus Street during working hours. To minimise disruption the works will be completed in phases and the traffic management will be amended during each phases.

Where possible traffic management restrictions will be reduced outside of working hours.

A Local diversion route will be in place during road closures. We would urge drivers to allow additional travelling time and take care to observe traffic management and signage in place.

A temporary clearway/no parking restriction will be introduced on Post Office Road for the duration of the works. The restriction is necessary to ensure no obstructions are on the road which could cause a delay.

The car park located on Post Office Road will be operational as usual.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Passenger transport

There will be no change to the bus service during the works. During road closures buses will either be guided through the works or a suitable short diversion will be in place. 

Bus bays one and two at the depot will be required for the site compound.
