Cust Hall Bridge - Road reopening

Due to the recent snow causing delays and slowing progress the programme has been revised. We are planning on reopening Gainsford End Road to vehicles by the end of the day on Friday 26 February 2021 with outstanding work being carried out under two-way traffic signals. 

Two-way traffic signals will be in place on Gainsford End Road while we carry out remaining work which includes:

• Installing vehicle restraint barriers and bollards
• Installing timber fencing
• Landscaping and replanting
• Concrete bagwork to South East embankment
• Remove pumps and temporary dam
• White lining
