Night closures for resurfacing works on Velizy Avenue A1019

Please note – between 26/02/2025 and 06/03/2025:

From 8pm until 1am: the northbound carriageway will be closed, and the southbound carriageway will be opened for motorist use.

From 1am to 5am: the southbound carriageway will be closed, and the northbound carriageway will be opened for motorist use.

From 5am daily: Velizy Avenue A1019 will be open again in both directions, northbound and southbound.

Motorists are encouraged to follow the diversion signs in place along the diversion routes, as the closure/opening times between 26/02/2025 and 06/03/2025 are subject to change, dependant on work progress.

This closure is needed for resurfacing works along Velizy Avenue and in the Crown Gate area, ensuring the safety of both the public and workforce. Please note that these works are weather dependent, and dates may change subject to weather conditions.

Due to open excavations across the carriageway, unfortunately there will be no access for vehicles, including emergency vehicles via the closed carriageways. However, there will be clearly signed diversion routes during these works.

Limited access will be available to businesses located within Post Office Road during northbound road closure times, via the southbound carriageway of Velizy Avenue. Motorists requiring access to and from the multistorey carpark can do so via the carpark entrance/exit southbound carriageway of Velizy Avenue.
