Slade Bridge - Trial holes complete

We are pleased to confirm trial hole investigations at Slade Bridge which runs beneath the High Street in Saffron Walden are complete. The road closures which were provisionally booked for Saturday 18 January and Sunday 19 January 2020 will no longer be required.

The findings from these investigations will support engineers planning the future replacement of the current bridge deck.

We would like to thank residents and local businesses for their co-operation and support during these works.
