Upcoming road closures - Dickenson Road and Wallace Road

As part of the ongoing construction for the Colchester Rapid Transit system on Northern Approach Road, two series of road closures are required between 6 – 13 November and 13 - 20 November affecting Dickenson Road and Wallace Road.

These closures are required to construct the new bus lane and junction layout.

The first will affect the junction of Dickenson Road and Northern Approach Road between 6 – 13 November. During the closure, access to Dickenson Road will need to be made via Wallace Road.

For the safety of the workforce and to protect vehicles, vehicles should not park to the right of the area marked in the image below. Access will be maintained for the residential car park.

The second closure will affect the junction of Wallace Road and Northern Approach Road between 13 – 20 November. For the duration of these works, vehicles should not park to the right of the area marked below. Access will be maintained for the residential car park.
