About the scheme

Works began at the end of January 2019 to undertake carriageway improvements to Tindal Street and New London Road in Chelmsford.

These were completed on 22 February 2019, with the road fully open to traffic, returning bus operations through Tindal Street/New London Road to normal.

Work involved reconstructing large sections of the carriageway followed by resurfacing.
