About the scheme

As part of the planning conditions approved by Tendring District Council for 15/00876/OUT, 20/00782/OUT and 21/00650/OUT, for the Lawford Green housing development, Rose Builders Ltd were required to carry out a number of highway improvements.

This included the installation of a new mini roundabout at the junction of A137 Wignall Street and Bromley Road in Lawford, road widening and kerb re-alignment. Street lighting was also re-located or installed and underground utility services diverted.

These works were delivered in phases and in co-ordination with third party utility companies.

Traffic restrictions during the works were reviewed and adjusted according to the work activities being carried out to minimise local inconvenience as much as possible.
